Areas now covered include personal assets such as homes, jewelry and artwork, other “niche” assets that have significant value, and kidnap and ransom insurance, the firm said.

“As our practice continues to grow we recognized that many of our clients needed specialized insurance protection for their assets, so we launched our HIG Private Client services to serve our high net worth clients,” said Josh Hamann, chief executive of HIG Risk Solutions.

HIG Risk Solutions recently built out its operations with acquisitions in San Antonio and Dallas, TX, complementing its corporate office in Houston.

The firm now serves clients throughout Texas, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico.
